It is no secret that the Millennial Generation is extremely dependant on technology and have integrated it into all aspects of their lives. That being said, it should come as no surprise that the Millennials utilize technology to network and search for jobs.

Millennials realize that it is no longer enough to polish their resume when it's time to look for a new job. Millennials are actively seeking to make connections to aid in their job search through sites such as Facebook and LinkedIn. Many Millennials have taken their networking efforts a step further and have joined career networking sites such as Brazen Careerist

Brazen Careerist allows candidates to take a hands-on approach to managing their careers by showcasing not only its members’ resumes, but also their ideas through blog posts and discussion boards. The creators of Brazen Careerist believe that it is not just formal professional exposure that gives Millennials experience and makes them marketable; it is also their ideas and ability to create conversations that makes them desirable job candidates.

While many hiring managers are aware of these sorts of networks, they are unaware of how to use them to their benefit when recruiting new talent.
